Bending over Backwards
It tis the season to start celebrating those who are committed in some way, to making our area and the lives of others, better. Please be on the lookout for a new page which will be dedicated to this very subject. In the meantime, BelvidereGreen invites you to point out these altruistic souls, so that their mission can be recognized (and maybe even furthered) by introducing their cause to those who visit our community gathering place.
To kick things off, Belvidere Green would like to recognize a frequent visitor to this site, Dr. Jon P. Heins. We discovered our new friend through a Belvidere, NJ Twitter search. Since this computer surfing stuff can be such back breaking work, you can imagine our joy when we found out Dr. Jon happens to own
the Belvidere Chiropractic Center. Now, having yet to need a Chiropractor, I have little way of telling whether his service is all, that it is cracked up to be, but I can assure you his heart is positioned correctly.
Angel Tree Toy Drive
Dr. Jon P. Heins and his caring staff at the Belvidere Chiropractic Center has joined forces with The Salvation Army to provide new toys, for local children of needy families. The Chiropractic Center, located at 6 Greenwich Street in Belvidere, will be available during business hours to accept a new toy, from you, on behalf of a deserving child in the area. For more information click here to be directed to their website where you can contact Dr. Jon directly with any questions.
Belvidereians never cease to amaze me with their generosity to those in need. The Heins family and his staff are just a few of many who will be doing good deeds this Christmas Season and throughout the entire new year. With the economy being far from it’s peak performance, this year (unfortunately) may provide more opportunities to do good deeds then in the recent past. If there is one thing in this world we can count on, it is the dedication of this area to bend over backwards when called upon to help their neighbors. Now let’s get to work.
On behalf of myself, my family, and my staff, I would like to thank you for sharing our Annual Salvation Army Angel Tree Toy Drive with all your readers.
I am honored you choose us to ‘kick things off’ to ‘celebrate those who are committed to making our area and the lives of others better’.
