Then the Annual Belvidere Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday, March 27 is the event for you. Once again, thanks to the outstanding effort by the good folks at our local American Legion Post, area children will be able to seek out colorful hard boiled eggs to bring home for their hungry parents.

At 12:00 (noon), with their eye on winning a prize, the youngsters participating in this event will spend the first hour gathering at the Court House side of “The Green”, in order to shake hands and have their pictures taken with the famous charactors who come to greet and root them on. Then at 1:00 pm sharp, the little egg hunters, grouped by age, will in a flash converage towards the center of the park scouping up as many eggs as the can fit in the baskets they brought with them from home. I recommend you do your best to keep from blinking, because this is truly a fun site to see.
