Greetings Nick, I don't believe so, but could be wrong. At least, at one point I couldn't get them that way. However, that was a while back and things may have changed. It would be worth a phone call though to find out.

Federal authorities visited Warren County this afternoon in their search for solutions to flooding problems that have plagued the region in recent years.
Big-ticket fixes entertained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are not looking feasible, officials said during a four-hour open house at Warren County Technical School.

Hello Phil and thanks for comment. In a day and age when it is so easy to make information available, it must be a little frustrating for you. In my opinion there should be little reason to keep information out of people's hands. If correctly done the cost should be minimal to none and the information is far from the levels of national security. Oh well, times change but sometimes people don't. It's all part of human nature. Over the years though, information will all become more open and attitudes will change with it. They will find out it wasn't such a big deal to begin with. It just may take a longer than it needs to.

I wish Oxford was more like Belvidere sometimes.
Oxford does not post agendas online, so I e-mail the clerk for it but she does not send it until the meeting starts (she'll send it at 6:55 p.m. -- the meeting starts at 7). For a while, I started e-mailing her days in advance to get agendas but she still would not send them. I've tried calling to reason with her, but she has not returned a call in 10 months.
I was at an Oxford meeting last month and no agenda was put out for the public.
Sigh.

Yes - the town does have tax sales near the end of every summer.

since the town doesn't count those revenues in this years budget you get dinged in a year that the unpaid tax rate increases.

Has the town ever done or considered doing a tax sale? If the rumors are true that there is a great deal of unpaid tax and sewer bills, selling these liens to investors would bring in that lost revenue and help make up the deficit.

my2cents, thanks for joining in on the fun. It is an interesting idea. Synergies can create savings. However, the devil is always in the details. Any idea what they are looking at with future liabilities?
