This is sad to read. You have every reason to be angry at such bad behavior. Having children who attend our schools it troubles me that they are introduced to language which they would never hear at home.

Kids of that age group, in my opinion, imitate rather than create the image they wish to portray. Whether it is from an older kid they admire, an adult they are frequently around or the media they consume, these children should learn for their own good that this type of public lewdness will not help them in the long run and is not what it means to be older.

The best the rest of us can do is be an example they can learn from. Hopefully, if they are surrounded by enough people of good nature, they will end up imitating what we both seem to deem as appropriate behavior.
